The Community Care Series seeks to arm grandmothers and elders with the information, resources and skills necessary to facilitate access for people in their communities seeking stigma-free emotional and practical support around pregnancy decisions and experiences. These skill and knowledge-based workshops are designed to support activists, whether they are hoping to share their abortion stories publicly, engage in values-based conversations about abortion with their communities, lobby lawmakers and/or plan direct actions.

Six times a year, GRR! hosts virtual events that invite experts in the sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice fields to share perspectives on salient topics. These events seek to keep our base current on knowledge, language/messaging, best practices, and bring GRR! activists in conversation with people on the ground and on the frontlines of abortion care, rights and access struggles. GRR! strives to be a source of truthful, relevant and timely information that empowers activists to take meaningful and ongoing action in their communities.

Through a series of intergenerational conversations, GRR! Invites grandmothers, elders, and younger folks to break silences and taboos about reproductive health, language, and abortion. The SOS program fosters an environment in which two individuals of different generations come together to explore a topic of their choice from a broad spectrum of life experiences. By creating this space for honest conversations, GRR! fosters connections across generations with the goal of improving understanding, deepening relationships and fostering an intergenerational movement that has clarity about our shared values and our unique roles in achieving equity in reproductive health, full abortion rights and advancing reproductive justice.
