It’s Voting Tuesday: Here are 3 quick ways to prepare for 2020.

December 31, 2019

It’s the last Voting Tuesday of 2019!

2020 is going to be BIG, so take some time now to look back on 2019 and get ready for the work to come in 2020.

Here are some easy ways to get prepared:

Check out the 2019 Congressional Scorecards from the Population Connection Action Fund and Planned Parenthood Action Fund to see how your members of Congress voted on legislation dealing with reproductive rights.

Be sure to write the dates of your state’s 2020 primaries in your calendar. Most states schedule different days for the presidential primary/caucus and the primary for congressional and state races. Be sure to vote in both primaries! Find the dates for your state at The National Conference of State Legislatures.

If you don’t have it yet, find the Contact information for your members of Congress and your state legislators. Save it in your mobile phone, write it next to your landline, save it in your email contacts. Here’s a tip: Save the phone numbers for the local offices of your members of Congress – When it’s time to make those calls, it’s often easier to get through to the local offices than Capitol Hill.

Congratulations! You’re ready. See you in 2020.
