WHAT: An afternoon discussion and call to action focused on advancing reproductive freedoms in 2024.  GRR! staffers will highlight the great work it is doing to harness the rage and insight of elders to support intergenerational efforts in advancing reproductive health, rights & justice for present and future generations.

WHEN: Sunday, April 28th from 3-5 PM Pacific Time

WITH WHOM: GRR! Board Member Ann Hill will share her personal 1968 illegal abortion story that led her to challenge Connecticut’s abortion ban — leading to a legal battle that would set the stage for Roe v. Wade. Ann will also provide an update on the current anti-abortion landscape and how Californians can support reproductive rights in red states.  This will include a report from the front lines of the fight in Arkansas where GRR! Board Member, Sarah Thompson, is working to get the Arkansas Reproductive Healthcare Amendment placed on the 2024 ballot.
