Thursday, September 19, 7 PM  Power Alley

In Lillah Halla’s nail-biting film Power Alley, 17-year-old Sofia’s athletic scholarship is threatened by her unexpected pregnancy, leading her to search for an abortion in spite of Brazil’s strict legal restrictions and the violent backlash from her community. Full of dirtbag feminism and defiance, Power Alley depicts sisterhood in its truest forms. Sofia’s volleyball team full of trans, queer athletes is a true community ― supporting and loving each other unconditionally ― that demonstrates the strength of friendship, the importance of solidarity, and the intersectional experience of queer people seeking reproductive justice.

Friday, September, 20, 7 PM Preconceived

Where does someone turn when facing an unplanned pregnancy? “Preconceived” is a raw and insightful look into the rise of the enigmatic crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) pervading America. Shedding light on how many of these centers are a part of a movement striving to make abortion unthinkable and illegal, the documentary explores the complex role of deception, finances, faith, and privacy. “Preconceived” follows the stories of two women, Maleeha in Texas and Maria in Colorado, whose searches to terminate their unplanned pregnancies misled them to anti-abortion centers.

Saturday, September, 21, 3 PM  Plan C

With a controversial visionary at the helm, a grassroots network of women, midwives, and doctors fight to expand access to abortion pills across the United States, keeping hope alive during a pandemic and the fall of Roe v. Wade.

Saturday, September 21, 7 PM The Belly of The Beast

When an unlikely duo discovers a pattern of illegal sterilizations in women’s prisons, they wage a near impossible battle against the Department of Corrections. Filmed over seven years with extraordinary access and intimate accounts from currently and formerly incarcerated people, BELLY OF THE BEAST exposes modern-day eugenics and reproductive injustice in California prisons.

Sunday, September 22, 7 PM– Never Rarely Sometimes Always

An intimate portrayal of two teenage girls in rural Pennsylvania. Faced with an unintended pregnancy and a lack of local support, Autumn and her cousin Skylar embark on a brave, fraught journey across state lines to New York City.
