Conference on Sexuality Education.

April, 2014. GRR members attend the 9th Annual Comprehensive Sexuality Education Conference in Augusta, Maine. In addition to learning about current birth control options, we meet terrific educators and public health professionals. We learn about everything from gender dialogues to gay/straight/transgender alliances to promoting healthy relationships in the sex ed classroom (oh my!). It’s important for grandmothers to understand both the language and the reality of sexuality today — this is the context for our work to make reproductive health services universally accessible.
