As grandmothers, we know what it was like in the days when abortion was illegal and access to contraception limited. We have experienced what a difference it can make for women and men to be able to regulate their fertility and plan their lives. We also know that by working together, sharing our stories, encouraging each other, we will grow in strength. We will get ever closer to the world of our dreams where every woman and man, every girl and boy, can fulfill their right to the sexual and reproductive health care they want and need.
We are here to provide you with the resources to do that. To advocate for your own rights and the rights of your children and grandchildren (and even great-grandchildren).
- We’ll be providing you with opportunities to take action and learn about what is happening in the day-to-day fight for reproductive rights in your communities, states and at the national level.
- We want you to share stories about what you have experienced and what you dream of for your children, grandchildren, even great-grandchildren in this chaotic world.
- We want to know what you have found works in your neighborhood, your state, to move our movement forward.
One of the ways we are going to be able to serve as better resource for you is by redesigning our website to be more accessible, engaging and informative. Stay tuned!
We are stronger together. 2018 is the year when we will show the world that looking back spurs us to fight forward! GRR!!
Always,
Judy Kahrl, President & Founder
