Adoption + Reproductive (Injustice): Reframing Choice.

Earlier this month we welcomed Dr. Liz DeBetta to discuss the complex politics and interpersonal impacts of the U.S. adoption industry, and its relationship to reproductive control and justice. At GRR! we are committed to exploring the many facets of reproductive rights, and we welcome everyone to watch the recording of Dr. DeBetta’s fabulous Coffee & Chat talk, and to review the resources she has provided for further learning. We encourage activists to seek out stories and analyses on adoption that are from the perspectives of adoptees and first/birth parents, as these voices have long been marginalized in public discussion of adoption.
